At First Coast Heart & Vascular Center, our goal is to provide quality medical care in a timely manner to our patients. Patients who no show or fail to cancel their appointment inconvenience other patients who need timely access to medical care. We would like to remind you of our office policy regarding missed appointments. This policy allows us to better utilize available appointments for our patients who are in need of medical care.
Cancellation / No Show Policy

Physician Appointment:
In the event that you must cancel or reschedule your physician appointment, you must do so within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment with First Coast Heart & Vascular Center. Failure to comply with this policy will result in a $50 charge, which must be honored prior to rescheduling. In the event that you no show to a physicians visit on three consecutive occasions, you may be dismissed from the practice.
Testing:
In the event that you must cancel or reschedule a testing appointment, you must do so within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment. Failure to comply with this policy will result in a $100 charge, which must be honored prior to rescheduling. In the event that you are absent from or cancel a test on two consecutive occasions, you may be unable to reschedule the test at our office. You may be referred to the hospital for rescheduling.
Procedures:
In the event that you must cancel or reschedule a procedural appointment, you must do so within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment. Failure to comply with this policy will result in a $200 charge, which must be honored prior to rescheduling. In the event that you are absent from or cancel a procedure on two consecutive occasions, you may be unable to reschedule the procedure at our Cath lab. You may be referred to the hospital for rescheduling.
No Show Appointments:
All patients who do not show for any appointment (physician visit or procedure), the office staff at First Coast Heart & Vascular Center will make 2 attempts to reschedule the appointment by phone. If you can not be reached via phone, a letter will be sent to your home address. All attempts will be documented in your file.
